Series of twelve screenprints with iron on muslin, stretched and oxidized

Within a day the average human takes between 20,000-25,000 breaths. Across each panel is a marking for each breath taken, totaling just over 22,000. Show are two instances of installation.

Abrasion

Screenprints with iron on muslin, stretched and oxidized

Image is of salt pockets eroding away at the snow. Iron was used and oxidized to further the degradation of the material, much like the subject matter and my body.

Grids

2024. Kozu paper, screenprint varnish, iron, magnesium, vinegar, salt.

A visual interpretation of a personal tracker of pain day by day due to chronic illnesses.
